Ironic. In 94 I was down there building camps at gitmo cuz of Haitians and Cubans trying to get here. Now the bastards are going there again 30 years later. Difference is we sent most back and not a whole lot made it to the US.

I see no merit in maintaining GITMO as one of our military bases. Too, I have no objection to running over Haitians and their boats with large naval vessels. It’s cheaper and far more efficient.

DeSantis has vowed to stop them, how can he accomplish this now with the CG involved in the trafficking short of a gun battle between the NG and the CG

Remember when the Japanese "long line" fishing fleet hit the Gulf of Mexico with their trotlines several miles long, back in the 1960s? Those lines were suspended with big glass balls a couple of feet in diameter. They decimated the fish population, and cost American commercial fishermen millions of dollars. A lever action .30-30 was just right to sink those balls- - - -the Americans called it "ocean skeet". I wonder if Hatian invaders' boats might make good targets for guys who just happen to be "fishing" in the area? A few 12 gauge slugs right at the waterline might get the message delivered.
