I called Leupold and asked why they had discontinued the gun metal gray series,Leupold replied inconsistent finish colors,Just some useless knowledge,To ponder on if anyone ever wondered why,And yes they look great on stainless and gun metal gray models,Good luck with your search,

I knew these would go up in value - any positive innovation Leupold brings to the table (gunmetal gray finish, long range duplex, etc) is quickly discontinued!!!

I have one in 3.5x10 that has the Varmint Hunters Reticle on my Stainless Tikka 708. Hard to find.
