This is a 45/70 that I've just about finished the upgrades to. Upgraded walnut, Decelerator recoil pad, Leapold rail, new swivel studs, etc. Now for either a red dot or a 1x4x30.
I kept getting sidetracked with work, teenagers and other projects. Not sure I'm going to keep this one, for I have Stutzen 30-30 that I'm working on that will take care of anything that I originally had planned for this one.
Txtrout, Excellent work. Nice stock! I too have restocked some H&R Handi Rifles. ( Very under rated rifle.) As mentioned elsewhere I have a 577NE and a 500-110 on SB2 H&R frames. Brian
