Hi everyone,
A couple of days ago I bought a box of WWB 9mm FMJs. Perusing the box I see it's "Made in Bosnia & Herzegovina". Anyone else notice this with the 9s and maybe the 5.56s? I think I bought some 5.56 or .223 but it's already in my magazines and the boxe(s) is/are gone to recycling. Is Winchester already maxed out producing ammo they have to look elsewhere to meet the demand? Any guesses to company making this stuff or does Winchester have a plant there?
I haven't had a chance to shoot this stuff yet so can't comment on the quality.
Thanx,
Curt

If you can't produce your own lost leader ammo for a competitive price you get someone else to do it who can. Duh, been going on along time.mb

OTOH, Fiocchi has been making more and more of its ammo here. Don’t know if they sell any of that overseas. What I’ve used of theirs has been good to excellent, and priced reasonably: shotshells, .223, 9mm, 5.7, and a few rimfires.
What fresh Hell is this?

I purchased a box of 7.62x54R that was made in Europe for Winchester 20 years ago.

Winchester's 7.62x54r ammo was, at least, made by Sellier and Bellot.

Winchester “white box” 55gr 5.56 has been made in Israel for decades. I suspect that source has dried-up since the Hamas war began.
