SD and ND have only farming to fill the state's coffers, and have no state income tax. Minn. has an equal amount of farm land, plus iron mining, and tourism, yet, we rank 5-6th highest state tax in the U.S. Unreal! The Millennials will get an education!

Then Montana is 0% sales tax. Montana’s oil drilling is start to kick off again west of Fairview. 2-3 rigs. But we are Full😆

I was talking state tax, not sales tax...but local gov't sure do know how to supplement their budgets with "out of town" dollars.

Wife's sister lives in that state and she can't believe how expensive it's gotten, what with taxes etc.. They wanna move out but have to wait another year+ before it can happen..
