Gents,
Tried this on the Winchester forum and got no takers. So trying here...
I just saw that Buffalo Bore is releasing what they call 32-20 +p ammo. I've got a model 1892 produced in 1911. It's in fine working condition. I've always wanted to shoot deer -- even just a cull doe -- with it. I've held off because I don't really love the factory Winchester or Remington ammo. (I know folks killed stuff with it for decades, but I'm not going to starve if the hunt doesn't work out and those factory loads are pretty damn anemic.)
So, any concerns about the steel? This is obviously post-black powder and I've always thought of the 92 as a very stout action...
Thanks y'all.

Call or text them. I have seen a few early M92's converted to 44 magnum. Seems like the ammo would be safe but I would call them and ask.

I did. They were noncommittal. (If I were them, for liability reasons, I probably would be too.)
