Carried the Kershaw Leek for like 10 years. Finally lost it last week. Ordered a new one with the composite blade. Has D2 on the cutting edge I like um. Single handed operation open and close. Pretty thin. Doesn't give you a big lump in your pocket. Doesn't cost 300.00.. dave

I've carried the same LEEK for 7-8 years now. Love the little knife!

Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Lightweight Signature Knife with 2.3" VG-10 Steel Blade and High-Strength Orange FRN Handle - PlainEdge - C28POR2 small but this is legal to carry in seattle. Seattle bans folders with a blade over 3.5", and all fixed blade knives unless worn openly for work, hiking, or fishing. Or stored in a toolbox.

I rotate several. Some are for dress or special occasions like church and social functions. I do have a Ken Onion like the one in the picture. Started carrying in first grade when I was six. Got Dad’s old 3 blade Case pocketknives. I remembered in 3 rd grade being asked who had a pocketknife that day she selected 3 of us, pulled her trash can in center, and had us pull a chair from the reading circle. Mrs Martin then called for students in row 1 to bring unsharpened pencils to us. The POS pencil sharpeners mounted on the bookcase only ground up your pencils. Very practical and smart lady who I had the honoring of teaching with later in life. Usually carried a Case Trapper in HS and Army Basic. Lost it in the pits and had it returned by DI. He also killed 2 wild turkeys on the firing range while we were policing brass. I was the only redneck who knew how to clean them. Sgt Davidson was a 6’4” black LURP and we got along fine even tho I was a Mississippi Delta boy and he had trained my 2 brothers previously. A great warrior. I carried a Spyderco Delica that my LEO son took off a black. It had a broken tip and molded in clip. I sent in to factory and had it fixed carried for 30 years. Lost when I got Covid and put in ICU, speciality hospitals and nursing home. Got 3 Benchmades, Ontario Rat 1, neck knives and Swiss Army, Browning and Buck. Find a lot in pawn shop and clean up. I also make hunting fixed blade knives from old files and saw blades. I cut stuff. I hunt and fish and cook. I dress my food and have eaten real fast food - deer, ducks, doves, rabbits and squirrel.

Day to day, 3 sort of. For a very long time I've carried a .. well, not always the same one, wore 2 out .. Gerber LST, 2nd to smallest size. Earlier ones had pretty decent steel, current ones I'm not so happy with but WTF it'll cut cardboard and tape thus saving the edge of my other knives for more important things. "Sort of" is a Leatherman Micra with a fairly tiny blade. It cuts fairly well. I've gutted salmon up to 30 pounds with it. Those are "in pocket" knives. Newest addition is a Benchmade Mini Bugout which hangs on the inside of my pocket by its clip. I had a full sized Bugout (still do, but don't EDC with it, it's in a small pack) but it proved too long for pocket carry and dug into me if I bent forward.
Day to day .. if I'm hiking .. I usually add a Cold Steel SRK or Master Hunter depending on which day pack I grab.
Anyone who thinks there's two sides to everything hasn't met a Mbius strip.
Here be dragons ...
