If this bill passes it will mostly affect Bitcoin due to the platform that they run on and to a lesser degree the other miners.
Pundits are saying that this bill would wipe out $30 billion in value immediately and simply cause the companies to probably relocate offshore.

I do have a bit of a contrary view however......
It would seem to me, in light of recent events, that a well fed population is much easier to control than a hungry population.
A well fed animal is content....a hungry animal is unpredictable.
