Hey folks,

I recently purchased a BRNO 602 in 458 Win Mag with a poorly repaired stock and chopped barrel that I'm attempting to salvage. With the cracks, it has no real value, so I don't feel bad trying to save it. I feel like bedding a rifle of this size would be prudent, I'm just wondering about disassembly of the sear/safety/bolt stop area and how to deal with the 2nd recoil lug in the stock?





I'm not afraid to take things apart, I'm just wondering if there's any tips or surprises I'm going to find?

There are a couple of little balls and springs, but it's mostly pretty straight forward. GD

I've got a couple of CZ550 Magnums and have bedded one of them. I bedded behind the main lug and also the additional lug under the rear sight base. Don't bed behind the tang - the original stocks have a gap here for good reason.

I found a schematic and see there's some tiny bits that look like they'd love to shoot across the room and/or roll off the bench. Looks pretty straight forward, just wanted to make sure.
