The victory by the Milan Indians, 70 years ago today, inspired the David-beats-Goliath 1986 Hollywood sports flick "Hoosiers." Not sure if it is my favorite, but it is definitely top 5. Others include "Slapshot", "Major League", and "Bull Durham".

Great movie! I’m not sure Gene Hackman ever made a bad movie.

Slapshot is almost the top for me, easily. Remember my dad introducing it to me as a young kid.

"Hoosiers" is a good film, but "Slapshot" is way ahead of it and all the rest.
