Headed to KC this afternoon. Driving down for the NCAA tourney this weekend.
Where are the good places to eat in KC these days?

Slaps BBQ ! My families favorite. We have stood in line in the rain to eat there and it’s worth it! Small place but very good.

Check out kcrivermarket.com, we ate at a place near the Arabia steamboat museum but I don’t remember the name. It was good KC bbq though.

Not a fan of Slaps BBQ.
A trip to North Town is worth taking.
Go to Hog Jawls BBQ.
It is maybe 10 minutes from the T-Mobile Center.
You can't go wrong with The Blue Line either.
Just because you're offended doesn't mean your right.

For us, the struggle is between Slaps or Jacks stack in Martin city. There are 6 jack stacks around KC but Martin city is the original and the best in my opinion.

We like Joe's Kansas City and Jack Stack for bbq. Had a reuben sandwich from Q39 on St. Paddy's Day, it was good. Haven't tried their bbq yet. Strouds is a chicken place that does a nice job. We're not down there a lot, but IME all the good places are crowded all the time.
