Wife and I went to dinner with our elderly neighbors recently. The whole time my elder neighbor was talking about how bad things are in the world. He couldn't find a darn thing good to talk about, and you could hear it in his talking that he is a little depressed and can see no good of anything going on in this country, or any where.
Wife and I told him that you have to look for the good, and there is good, in the world. You just have to look for it.
And finally, told him to shut off the TV. His wife told us that he watches almost non-stop news, and we all know that "bad" sells and it's almost all the "news" is any more.
There is good, you just have to look to see it. Get outside and enjoy the sunny days, or heck, even the snowy days. It sure beats watching non-stop bickering on the news.
Laws aren't preventative measures. In other words, more laws won't prevent gun crime from happening.

A guy stopped by today with a truckload of reloading stuff and over 200 boxes of collector ammo he wants to sell. Some rifle calibers I haven't even heard of. I am going to look at it all tomorrow. I really enjoy buying chit I don't need but may someday.
