Looking for opinion on the 2, glass quality, tracking, and size of reticle as in thickness of it.
I will be using it for small targets at extended distances.

Thanks, Joel

The only thing I wish they would change is the eyepiece/power selector size. I have a few Extra Tall Rings without a purpose.

Great glass!! To heavy for a hunting rifle and as already stated the eye piece - power selector is way to big

My Optika6's were VERY disappointing. Schit tracking and repeats. EASY pass. Hint.............

I have an optika 5. I like it. The glass I think is pretty good. At least comparable to the meopta Zeiss made conquests, should be an easy noticeable amount better. Tracking? I wouldn’t use mine for much dialing. It’s great as a set and forget scope. If I am going to dial to adjust my scope to a different load every now and then. That’s ok. Wanna dial, get a Zeiss v4. Eye box is a tad less forgiving than the bushnell elite the meopta replaced.

I like Meopta’s Meopro line but the newer Optikas are not for me. The glass is fine but they weigh too much for a SFC scope IMO, eye box sucks and require too high of rings. I am not a turret dialer so it was fine as a set it/forget it scope. There are better options out there.

I have an Optika 5 3-15x44 on my 17 hmr and am pretty happy with it. It was reasonably priced and available (which is more than I can say for many of the 'fire favourites).
It is heavy and don't love how it looks but it sure is functional. Was much better than the other available options. Glass is good enough for me and reticle is great for what I use it for - shooting at the range and shooting cottontails and magpies between 50m and 150m. It was easy to zero and as I don't dial it tracking is a non-issue.

I have 2 optika 6 (2.5-15 and 3-18) and an optika 5 (3-15). I like them all. The 6 line is real heavy. The glass on both are good in my opinion. I haven’t dialed turrets since they are on set and forget hunting rifles. The duplex reticle is very thin but still works well in low light for hunting. I’d buy another of either line for sure.

I have an optica6 3-18 as well very big and heavy scope for a hunter rifle keep saving buy the Leupold and you can thank me later I have the same Leupold but with the adjustable objective my only extra advice would be if you are going to be hunting early evening if they still make the 50 mil objective model buy that one still nowhere near as bulky and as heavy as the optica6.
