Jus' asking.

I you want to go with that narrative, and blame the current or past generation, would they not be a product of previous generations?
The mouthy, disrespectful, lazy morons of today were raised by Boomer kids.
Agreed ?

Agreed.

The Greatest Generation learned how to survive the Great Depression and won World War II. They sucked at raising kids (general statement). The hippies, flower children etc were their children. LBJ was part of the greatest generation, look at his Great Society legacy. Most of the boomer's children or at least in their thirties, and yes to a great degree we (born in 1963) sucked at raising kids. But if you ask a Gen X they think there Generation is the best.

There are plenty of good boomers and plenty of good kids of all ages whatever "generation" they are considered. Lots of bad also and plenty of fault to go around for the mess we are in now as a country.

I need to make sure I understand the question. Are you asking me mouthy, disrespectful, lazy Gen-Xers or Millennials were raised by Boomers? I don't want to conflate these very important labels.

Same here, guess I'll just up and leave this thread now as I thought 63 was the final Boom-Boom year

Just to be clear, "mouthy, disrespectful, lazy morons" ARE NOT my labels. They've been used in this thread to describe the current generation and -1.
Yes they were raised by the Boomer kids.

Alot of posts deal with " my father and Grandfather raised hardworking, respectful, men of men".
If that's true and the reason that your generation has those values, and the current ones don't, where's the disconnect?

As posted before, I am ALOT closer to being a Boomer, than not !

P.S. Why are the sheep running scared from Jim ?

Not too many hippies or flower children around here... ever. We had an anti-war demonstration at Ole Miss in about ‘71 and I think three idjits showed up. I think they were standing around for about an hour and then left because they weren’t getting any attention.

Census bureau says boomers include those born ‘63 and ‘64. Guess it “depends.”

Bunch of free grazing right there on the right of way?

Folks down the road a bit take advantage of it here too. Unlike your schoolbus driver, I've given up on contacting them, bu phone or by stopping up at the house. They moved in a couple of years back and there doesn't seem to be any slowing down their sheep, goats, or cattle from getting in the road.
