Experiences, thoughts on the above question.

I have a Foxpro Fusion where I added the decoy that replaces the battery cover. If I run the decoy on a cold day, the double A batteries can run down quickly. 8 in the caller, 4 in the remote. Can replace them 2-3 times a day.

The Hellcat has a 9volt in the remote, 4AA in the caller. 50% of the batteries.

The Hellcat Pro uses a rechargeable lithium battery. How do they work in the cold? Should a person have two batteries?

Fusion has two speakers, the Hellcats 1.


Esthetic Hellcat Pro an Upgrade over the Fusion?

How well does the Hellcat Pro work interface cold?

Well, according to Foxpro, it is. Electronics are upgraded, decoy is fully integrated, electrical draw is reduced and the lithium battery is more cold insensitive.

When it gets real cold I put my caller in an insulated lunch box with one end cut out w/ a hot hands, works great.

When you are calling, it is in a lunchbox? Does the remote still work?

Yes, it is a soft side lunchbox w/ foam insulation.
