Rt 211 shut down on the Massanutten mountain, between Shenandoah and Page co.'s Heard a couple 18 wheelers got trapped by fallen trees then caught in the fire and burned up. Possibly mid next week til the roads opened back up.

I hate to hear of this. How close are the fires to your place, Leonard? Are there any fires up near Morgantown? Hopefully the expected rain will knock it out.

The State of Emergency allows State and Local agencies to take swift and decisive actions to mitigate the impact of the fires and protect the lives and property of West Virginians in those areas. Hoping for calm steady rain for Wva./ Va borders.

We were under a bad air warning yesterday, but I didn’t smell anything, unlike Trudeau’s fires a while back.
It was pretty windy. I was pulling clays for my son and his lady and some of them almost ended up back where they started….
What fresh Hell is this?
