For folks that don't know what that means is that our household makes a middle income salary but I don't have a Supercub, 180, Woolridge, or a fancy Polaris SXS. Toys in Alaska equate to whether you are rich or poor.
We have two 4 wheelers in the garage and a Ranger out in the driveway. And any one of those machines is worth more than my pickup.....lol (maybe not the old 4 wheeler but still..)
All work related equipment though, no fun stuff like boats or campers.

No, they equate to whether your upside down or not. I know a lot or people with a HELL of a lot less money than me who have way more toys. Then again, I have a buddy with all the toys, and his net worth is in the tens, if not hundreds of millions. Just because you have toys doesn’t mean you have money.
Wife and I are retired now collecting SS some saving had to slow down from the way we used to live I'd say upper lower class now. I'm ok with that had lots of fun in our younger days. Hell, I ain't complaining owe less than $10k so I sleep good at night no worries about being in debt over my head.
