Today's verses:
He told them, "My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with Me." He went on a little further then fell to the ground. He prayed that, if it were possible, the awful hour awaiting Him might pass Him by. "Abba, Father," He cried out, "everything is possible for You. Please take this cup of suffering away from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done."
Mark 14:34-36
This passage always gets me. May the Lord be gracious unto you, brothers.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these."

Sometimes God says “no.” But it’s likely that every single one of those who follow Jesus is thankful and grateful that God said “no” to His son in the garden of Gethsemane.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.
