I have a Montana 1999 Short mag action I wildcatted to a 358 wsm, the problem is in the deal for the action I acquired a stock that turned out to way to nice to hunt with if i ever decide to offload the gun, who makes a synthetic stock for that action that will not break the bank? will a kimber montana short mag rifle stock fit or was that a different action based, The new montana rifle company said new stock will not fit and look at a pre 64 win., thoughts appreciated.

I fitted several Win 70 Shortaction WSM, LH wood stocks to the Montana 99 CDNN used to have them cheap. Tang and bolt stop are different and action lug as I recall.
