No. Baltimore is the 18th-busiest port in the U.S.:

No. They will clear the channel in months if not weeks for port traffic. The only longer issue will be vehicle traffic will have to take alternate, more-congested, routes until the bridge is rebuilt.

There is more, but those things show clearly that she doesn’t know what she’s talking about.

MarineHawk, No problem buddy. Like I said. I'll just leave this here. No dog in the fight

Understood, Local Dirt. Either way you're a good man, and I've learned a lot on here from you.

It's really not that unheard of for ships, big and small to temporarily lose power expecially considering how complex most of them are now. At sea no big deal, they deal with it, fire it back up and proceed on. The local ferry had a similar thing happen.

So it really doesn't surprise me at all that it happened.

Was watching the video this morning with a bunch of lifelong fisherman while we waiting to fix a boat we are on. Nobody was surprised and everyone just thought it was bad luck it happened at the wrong time.

Yep, kind of like when the brakes go out at the exact time you and a train are approaching the crossing at the same time. Stuff happens. In 1972 I was on a supply boat tied up at Morgan City, Louisiana and witnessed a barge take down the railroad bridge over the Atchafalaya River. Nothing nefarious, just a very bad mishap.

Where does the coal go out?

That might be more important.

If you don’t believe that, you’ll believe ANYTHING your government tells you!

John Burns worked on that project. Wyoming Arms won the contract for the targeting system mount, and John trained the 15 year old Jew kid who fired the laser on how to use the X-box controller.

Its really a shame that Lara Logan has become a whack job. Does anyone really believe she has access to some super-secret intell that no one else does? Sad.

I believe that 98% of the media spend 100% of their time lying.

Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want.

Rehabilitation is way overrated.
