Last year I bought several firearms and have yet to use or shoot a few of them. With taxes and other expenses coming up it is time to thin the herd and this is the next to go!

Up for your consideration is a Ruger Super Redhawk chambered in .454 Casull, model number 05505. This was a limited run in Ruger's proprietary "Target Gray" finish and according to the serial number was manufactured in 2000. This double-action revolver features stainless steel construction, 6-shot non-fluted cylinder, 7.5" barrel with integral scope mounts, red ramp insert front sight with adjustable rear sight, and a rubber grip with wood inserts. Dual chambering allows the use of both .454 Casull as well as factory .45 Colt cartridges. At some point the gun was sent to Mag-na-port International and was Quadraported to reduce felt recoil.

I bought this gun used and took it to the range once using some light .45 Colt loads but have never fired .454 Casull loads in the gun. Overall the gun rates 95% with minor handling wear and a light turn ring on the cylinder as shown. I wound up mounting a Burris 2x20mm handgun scope using the factory rings but have not shot the gun with this setup. I also added a Hogue Monogrip but the original grips are also included along with the elastic eye caps for the scope. Sorry but I do not have the factory box or paperwork. Note the pistol prop rod is not included, otherwise what you see is what you get.

This would make a perfect woods gun for most large game but is overkill for the small deer we have here in northeast Florida. In addition, I'm throwing in a sealed 100-count bag of new Starline .454 brass along with approximately 67 .454 reloads that were obtained from a friend. These include a mix of Hornady and Starline brass and two bullet types though I am not sure of projectile weight. I had planned to disassemble these to reuse the brass and bullets but will leave that task for the buyer. The gun itself must ship to a FFL but the brass, loaded ammo and scope/rings will ship separately. Those items will ship to your FFL or home address where legal.

Asking $1500 shipped from my FFL to your FFL for the whole package. Keep in mind this will go in 2 boxes so will probably cost me upwards of a hundred bucks to ship everything including transfer fees. I know the Magnaporting cost around $150 so think this is a good deal considering everything included. If needed I can take more photos, just let me know if you want to see something specific. Not interested in any trades. Cross-posted so first time stamp gets it. Thanks for looking!

So very cool..... now I have to really consider if my SRH .44 needs a big brother.

I have one less the MP process. It is a hoot to shoot with 45 colt ammo. And a lot of power is available when using 454 loads.

I've been so overwhelmed with fake news that I'm now nuts. Let's go Brandon
