Nice. I had a 7mm bdl like that once......until I shot it. It went down the road. Back then I was all of 115 pounds. 'Bout knocked me on my a$$.🤣

I like your style!👍 I picked up this Bishop stocked 722 in 257 Roberts a few weeks ago as well. That is gorgeous. I apologize for the crappy pics. I can not usually transmit a photo over .8 mb to Rick's server or to Imgur. I had to downsize the pics severely. The 1100 came with pleasing wood, though it is not as pretty as that Bishop stock. The dies just came in for the 257. And I have a couple hundred 6.5x57 brass to use for it.

Have you had a chance to shoot the 257? I have one that my daughter killed her first deer with. Now my grandson is going to have it. I have basically just loaded staring loads to keep recoil pleasant. Gun groups those pretty well. Is the 7mm going to stay a 7 or you have other plans?

I don't really have any use for a 7 mag. I already have an STW and a Win 70 in 7 mag.
So it has been gifted to the Son in Law. I do have a ladder group of 140s loaded as well as a set in 160 gr. As soon as I find pressure and determine if it will group, I will load a couple hundred rounds and deliver it. The barrel is pitted in a couple places, but I have seen much worse.
The 257? It came with 50 rounds of some HP. I am going to load a box of 110 spitzer boat tail with H4831 and see if it will group.
And there is a Savage model 12 V, which I just put a new 6.5-284 barrel on and rebedded yesterday.
I have about six rifles, a couple pistols, and a bunch of ammo to take over to the Parma range and get sorted out.
