Lupe Tortilla if you like Mexican food.
Papa’s steakhouse if you want to drop big $$$$ on a good steak. Taste of Texas as an alternative.

NASA with a trip to the Kemah boardwalk.

If you’re gay, head to Montrose.

No reason to go downtown, unless you want to catch a baseball game.

If staying in a hotel, don’t leave anything valuable in your car.

Make sure you hit a Buc-ees on you way in and out of town.

I think most Americans have heard of the Alamo but how many know about the Battle of San Jacinto and the San Jacinto Monument? The Battle of San Jacinto is where Texas won the war for independence from Mexico.

I've lived in Houston since 1986 and I like it just fine.
Sure, Houston's not perfect but it's not bad for a large city IMO.
