Up for sale is this sweet little Diana made Winchester 435 Spring air rifle.

These were made for Winchester from 1968 to 1974 and they are very well made guns. They actually cost as much or more than most of Winchesters .22 rimfire powder guns at the time. This is the same gun as Diana model .35 which is a worldwide classic .

This rifle is stamped MADE IN GERMANY with a June 1968 manufscture date.

This is an heirloom quality rifle. All steel with no plastic or pot metal parts. I would rate the quality at least as goosas the best currently made German Weirauch ,BEEMANS etc. I have owned.

This is an adult sized gun at 6.75 lbs with a 13.
75 length of pull. Very comfortable stock with a nice high comb.

The rifle comes mounted with a 1970 vintage ElPaso Weaver D-4 4xscope. The gun is in nearly new condition and is very accurate. I easily get dime sized groups at 25 yards with Crosman pellets. It cocks smooth and hits hard .The velociity on these is about 650- 7O0 FPS depending on the pellets used. Same pwer level as the current HW-50 rifles.

A great gun for Spring shooting and maybe hand down to a deserving young shooter.

Do you have the original rear sight?

Nope.That is why the scope was mounted.

The origional rear sights were made with of most plastic parts and never seemed to last long. Which is strange, given How well made the rest of the rifle is.
