Heck I didn't endorse Trump in 2016 either. Trump did say some uncalled-for bad things about Cruz's wife. The main reason he didn't endorse Trump. Voted for Cruz in the primary. Vote for Trump in the general. Will vote for Trump in this election too.
As far as Jan 6 goes, what was happening in the senate at the time? Senators were behind police who had guns drawn and watched windows being broken by rioters. Also, the media only showed what they wanted people to see at that time to promote a narrative that these people protesting were bad. We know better now with the release of more video. I recall thinking at the time that the protesters were being set up by the Dems and especially Pelosi. I believe I was right. However, those that did fight and attack police have no sympathy from me. Those that were invited in by police and then arrested later need to have their charges dropped and their record on this issue expunged. Those that never entered the capital but have been arrested just for being there need the same.
