Not sure if I should be asking here but here it goes.

As a reloader just getting back into reloading, one thing I have always wondered about but never really tested myself.

Question is...does using different shell casing for same powder charges, same bullet, same primer, affect anything? Mainly accuracy as in point of impact.

If so, would I see drastic difference?

Reason I am asking is because I have been reloading casings from factory once fired loads but just bought some new casing from a different brand then what I am currently using.

Yes.
Different brands, and even different production lots of the same brand of brass can have different volumes because wall thickness and demensions can and often does vary between manufacturers and production lots.

Some brand/lots can have more variable wall thickness within a single piece of brass. In other words wall thickness on one side of the brass can be different than the other side of the brass.

The wall thickness of brass can be measured at the neck at, say, 3 or 4 places around the neck using a tube micrometer.

Different brands are known to have more wall thickness consistency than other brands.

If loading a different brand of brass, back off the powder charge a bit then work up again.

To add to the above, comparing case weight is a good indicator of internal case volume, which is inversely correlated with pressure for a given load.

Yes , as already stated, HOWEVER , depending upon your intent , it can make little or no difference. For close range shooting you will most likely not see much difference, for, MAXIMUM LOADS, and target shooting or long range, BIG DIFFERENCE
