A friend of mine is getting his 12yo daughter involved in hunting and is looking for a gently used Leupold Yosemite 6x30mm preferably in the Mossy Oak pink camo.
Much obliged.

If you are still looking, the Kowa YF II is a very close clone of the Yosemite, and in current production.
I'm not seeing it in pink, though.

I believe the leupold Yosemite was a rebranded Kowa YFII, though I've been wrong before. I have a couple of the Kowa yf in 6x30 and 8x30 that I have given to my step kids, they have taken a lot of abuse for an inexpensive binocular.

I found this interesting, it was posted on BirdForum.net by SteveO4B back in 2016, so it is definitely dated:

The original Yosemite binoculars were designed by John Riutta (formerly of Leupold) and a designer from Japan (Kamakura?) who both had 4-year-old kids at the time. The Yosemite was designed for these kids. These two owned the design and licensed it to Leupold. When John left Leupold, the license was terminated. Leupold reverse engineered the Yosemite, but forgot it was supposed to be for little kids. As a result, they didn't make sure the focus wheel was easy to use. John then licensed the design to Kowa, resulting in the YF.

Clicked on this because I'm also in the market for another pair. Thanks for the info on the Kowa. I'll go that route.
