If I read the antique plate correctly, it is a 1966 something.

An ugly one.

Due to the increased price of ammo, don't expect a warning shot...

Looks most like a mid-'60s Plymouth 'Valiant' to me with maybe a little extra customizing, too.

1965 Valiant:

Rambler. I’d guess 66 or 67.
I thought of the Plymouth Valiant, but those taillights say Rambler too.
Where’d you find it at? I haven’t seen one in this area since the late’70s!

But the 1960s Ramblers didn't have that real wheel coverage, right?

It was in the Lion Food parking lot in Falling Waters, WV. The guy in it appeared to be old enough to be the original owner.

Looked it up. The Rambler didn’t have a side gas cap!
At this point, I’m gonna withhold a guess. It looks American, but I can’t off the top of my head say what make .

Some Russian model, or Plymouth Valiant.

Can't be. Look at the tailpipe. Tailpipe that low would drown the vehicle out. Those amphibious cars had the exhaust taken upwards by a snorkel type thing.

Pay no attention to the hubcaps. They say aftermarket to me. In the 60s everybody had some kinda logo on the hubcaps.
I can’t get past Rambler because of those taillights, but I looked up the American and they don’t have a side fill gas cap.
Wish you had gotten the front end. ID by grill and headlights and such is way easier.
I don’t like to admit it, but this one has me a little stumped.
It was always a bragging point about IDing cars at a glance!😀
When your Old Man had a junkyard, it was part of your job description!

Did IH ever make a Coupe?

Plymouth "K" car with a shiiteload of bondo/fiberglass work? The "fins" look like play dough.
