New never fired Brian Blake light Palma for the 12 pound light rifle.
Chambered up in 6.5 GT.

You'd have probably gotten more looks had you labeled the thread:

Funny right there.
Two seasons.
Figure 14 matches plus testing.
Say between 1500 and 2000 rounds.
You never really know.
And it's tomato stake time.
It's not new anymore.
Got one round down range .
Time for some break in.

Very clean work! Do you cut the chambers yourself? Are you using a pressure flushing system?

It's my second.the first was a 6mm
I've abandon the 6mm BRA for 1000 yard work.
Danging accurate scary accurate groups .BUT.
A 105g Hybrid on a 40 pound coyote at a grand.
With a low hit isn't blowing wind up my skirt anymore.
So I rebarreled up to the 6.5 GT.
The first barrel took forever to get.
The last one the 6.5 was actually pretty quick.
I think Brian has stepped up his game on delivery s.
Last I heard the 6mm production was suspended.
They seem like serious people to me.
There products show it.

Thank you.
I do not.
I have the ability.
Not the desire.
I stand by equipment all day.
Don't want to at night.

Some World Class shooters at that shop! As you mention it shows in their products. I was told at last Thursday's practice that they are starting a second run of their F Open action.

JK.
The term , breaking in the barrel, is kinda pudoo.
There's absolutely no reason to break in the barrel itself. It's fine.
Your smoothing up the lead.
By shooting it.
Seen it alot over the last 12 years or so.
The very first round , copper fouls like crazy.
The heavy copper fouling goes away very quickly in the next 4 to 8 rounds or so .
Usually only takes 5 .
It's just alot easier/quicker to get it out.
Then you can go about destroying / burning /fire checking it the old-fashioned way by shooting it.

I don't dought it.
That guy is into everything.
I'm just glad he's still making barrels.
If my weight limit was 22 pounds I'd be looking at one of those actions.
I get a kick out of the IZOD neck turner.
The manual one wasn't good enough so then he put a CNC control on it.....
That guy kills me.
Take a look at the 7mm FCP round sometime.

Years ago when I shot short range BR I picked up a barrel from . Mark Chanlyann for a 13.5 HV PPC
It was awesome.
Managed to get into the top 20 at a IBS nationals with it.
I had one in ,6.5 x 47 for Ridgway and it was very good.
I've heard that He has retired and his son is making barrels now.
I'll have to give one a try.

Pretty sure I saw the prototypes of all of the above at our long range practice sessions at Ben Avery. Andy, who rifles the barrels told me last week that he had pulled off of barrels to catch up on the AutoDOD / IDOD neck turners that had built up a backlog again.

Seems like they have developed the better mousetrap for a lot of long rang shooting needs. Hoping they are around for a long time.

I think one of the F-Class YouTubers did a tour of Bryan's shop recently. Kind of glad I just compete with Palma rifles... much simpler and relaxing for me. cool

Forgot to add, great shooting with that Chanlyann barrel!
