I’m pretty much a traditionalist and I think the rule changes are all stupid. Baseball has always been the game that “it’s over when it’s over.” No clock, everybody gets the same number of at-bats, etc. Pitch clock? The umps always could tell the pitcher to “pitch” and the batter to get in the box. They just didn’t like to do it.

Throwing at batters didn’t happen as much when the pitchers had to bat. That kind of BS got solved real quick.

I love baseball season as all three of my kids play. Been hitting balls to the kids and pitching to them a lot lately. Little League skills day is next Saturday.

All my hunting buddies have kids in the same league so it’s like a party down at the ballpark a few times a week.

If you have a Little Leaguer, one thing you can do is throw them batting practice with golf whiffle balls. Being smaller, the golf whiffle balls make them really focus on a smaller target.

If you pitch from your knees from fifteen or twenty feet away, you can put the ball exactly where you want it so if he’s having problems hitting low and inside, you can accurately target that part of the strike zone.

Caution!!! 😊 For self defense wear a glove and pitch with your knees together. Pitches that are a little low and away can be problematic. A cup is not overkill.

It’s always been my favorite athletic sport, because I was decent at it as a kid. But I don’t watch a lot of any pro sports these days. Actually I watch zero basket ball, part of an NFL game occasionally, and same with baseball, part of a game occasionally.

I'll watch every Giants game I possibly can now that the new coach is making them stand for our National Anthem!

Love the game but hate the MLB!

Blackouts in this day and age are the stupidest thing ever!!!!!!!!

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

Couldn't care less about basketball or the NFL even before politics got involved but I've always been a baseball fan. Go Braves!

Never played BB as a kid so wasn’t very in tune to it. Enjoyed a game here and there.

Now as a parent with kids in Little League, it’s a blast. A lot of nuance in the game you miss if just a casual fan and never played.

If you've never played the game.......you're probably a friggin golfer or bowler! Takes a helluva lot more skill to be a good player in baseball than in football.....or fuggin 'sock er'!

I wouldn't spend 15 cents to attend a MLB game! The upper echelon of MLB is doing everything they can do to f uck up that game as well as the SEC is doing to f uck up collegiate baseball! Stability in the collegiate baseball game is all shot to hell and back with the transfer portal rules that have been incorporated. No longer is room and board sufficient to attract players to a college as we now have to cater and smooth stroke young prima donnas with pay! As Coach Sabin stated....."all they want to know is how much you gonna pay me!" The transfer portal rule needs to allow only one transfer per season or once every two years!

We have two college teams within 1/2 hour of the house. The play is pretty competitive and the cost is cheap. I’d rather go to a local college game than undertake the trouble and expense of going to a MLB game. Also, didn’t MLB put “black lives matter” on the pitcher’s mound a while back? Another good reason to stay away.

My grown son who played collegiate baseball likes to say that soccer is part of a communist plot. It reduces the amount of training our kids get in sports that focus on hand-eye coordination, therefore affecting the ability to shoot. 😁
