How do you like it?? I have a Mathews Avail . With my rotator cuffs, I can hardly shoot it anymore, even at 50 lbs.

I shot the lift 29.5 and hated it. Put it back after 3 shots. Shot quite a few others and settled on the Hoyt Alpha X30 and I’m a Mathews fan.

Roy That’s what I’m leaning towards. But the Lift is on the list as well. Matthews is a great company. I’ve had a Matthews Outback for almost 22 years without a hitch.

Roy Same, except put it down after 2 shots. Got the Alpha X. And my last bow was a Mathews.

Could you guys please elaborate? What did you not like? I busted my hand up pretty badly and may need to get away from my recurves. Quite frankly I don't even know where to start looking for something easier to pull. And I will not shoot a crossbow until I am WAY more feeble.

The draw cycle wasn't as smooth and felt heavier than any others I tried (Mathews, Hoyt, PSE), and felt like it stepped up in weight at the end, especially compared to the others. The others, especially the Hoyts, felt easier to pull and didn't have a spike in weight at the end.

I've not shot the Lift; had a broken wrist earlier in the year and now a rotator cuff injury. I was going to upgrade this year, but injuries are forcing me to take the year off. Lots of guys are swearing by the lift.
Last year, none of the bows impressed me enough for an upgrade. I have the VXR and an older Bowtech.

I shot a Lift and a Hoyt Alpha x 30 a few Weeks back. Both were outstanding.

Been thinking about upgrading my Mathews Drenalin, but then see the prices on the new bows. Yikes...maybe another new string will do for now

I had to give up the bow due to injury years ago but I watched my #2 grandson shoot 5 arrows into about 5" to 6" at 90 yards on an elk hunt near Flagstaff a couple weeks ago\. I'm amazed at what some guys can do with a bow and arrow anymore. He shoots a Lift.

Had a new string/cable installed at a local shop, guy came in talking to the lads that work there about a Lift. He knew the bow mechanic pretty well it seemed. They gave him a 33'' Lift to try- he couldn't have shot it more than twice- he was only back there a couple of minutes. He handed it back while shaking his head NO thanks- so ? They had a bunch of them.

I upgraded from a Drenalin to a VXR what was amazing was I was able to reduce the pull weight and actually picked up speed. The Dren ia a capable bow improvements have been made.

My son and I went and shot some bows yesterday he ended up buying a lift 29.5(last year model on sale). I shot the lift 33 and Hoyt rx8 both last years models. I didn’t end up buying one but both seemed nice. Really not sure which one I’d choose for myself
