Anybody have one of these yet? I'm just curious as to whether it works as it should with all .22 magnum ammo or if it's quite specific ala the Kel-Tec model - which, as I have heard, is hit or miss re: reliability and/or specific ammo needs.

I have had one for about 6 months about 600 rds down range and yes it does not feed all ammo. If you follow their list of ammo to use no problems. There is a rumor about followers and springs in mags being a problem and I tend to believe that one. Has been extremely accurate and a whole lot of fun to shoot.

I used to be a lot more interested in 22mag handguns. Had a couple, and just really couldn't get into them if I was being honest with myself.

They were LOUD. Accuracy was lacking by my standards. Expensive to shoot. Not much more benefit over a .22lr handgun.

I'm glad they make choices and those who want one can own one. But I'm better suited to using my .22lr handguns for my applications.

Are you referring to the Kel-Tec or the S&W model? If you do mean the S&W, that's a bit disappointing..

Thought about getting one but wasn't sure about reliability. Ended up picking up this 48 in 22 mag at a local auction last week. Yes they're loud , velocity lacking compared to a rifle barrel but they're fun.

Someone sold me a 2 inch barreled 22 magnum smith and Wesson once. I had it a month, it was ear splitting to shoot it and not much more than a much lower decibel 22 LR. In my opinion.

Has anyone ever seen a 22 WMR auto pistol that was reliable?
I didn't think so.

Was restraining from posting about the noise.
And cost of ammo.
If my ears and waller are gonna suffer that much, I'm all in on something that makes it
worth it. Even if it's a little louder and more expensive to shoot.

Never owned a 22 mag pistol but really wanted one. I picked up a Walther WMP. Fun gun, but they do bark. This one has been reliable and accurate so far, but I’ve only shot the CCI 40 grain ammo through it.

My .25-06 shoots 1/4" all day long and I don't even have to do my part...
