OK. I can't do proper chemical nomenclature here but I will try to give a very simplified example of the problem.
You are going to react H2 gas with O2 to create H2O, water.
If you have 7 mols of H2 and 11 mols of O2, calculate the largest amount of H2O that could be produced. Answer to the nearest .1 mol 7 mols H2 plus 3.5 mols O2 yields 7 mols H2O
