Another vote for the Frankford Arsenal Platinum. I've been using mine for a few years now and can't imagine not having it on the bench. This tool turned my least favorite part of handloading (brass prep) into something that I actually enjoy, and it saves a bunch of time as well. I did replace the cutter with an RCBS carbide piece just because but the original was still cutting fine. Baldhunter was spot on - you can definitely feel the brass hardness change as the brass becomes more work hardened and then return once annealed. If my machine died today I would not hesitate to replace it with the same unit.

Frankford Arsenal............Great tool, reasonable price.
My only complaint is the schittty cutter for the trimmer
Even with an upgrade one, 500 cases is about it as the time required to trim just increases a lot.
If I could find a reasonably priced carbide one, that would make my day.
MM I'm on my second FA. I was looking for something else when I got a deal on the current one too good to pass up. I stripped a gear on the first one after trimming an awful lot of empties. It probably didn't help I just ground down some reformed cases using it rather than a file.

I retired my rcbs case prep center when I got the FA, I'm even happier with it after installing a carbide cutter
