No doubt he is set up fine. I grew up using an old Beretta 20 with Modified bbl and took my share of game with it, but it was never mine. I do like the 20s, just fine, but my 28 is on a smaller lighter frame - O/U, so it's very handy, quick to shoulder and swing, easy carrying all day, and has impressed me thus far. Just want to make sure I pick the best ammo.
I have discovered that Beretta and Benelli currently mfg. some very light 24/26" bbl semi autos that look to be very quick to shoulder and fast handling and great for carrying in thick cover for the rabbits. I hope to make a pheasant hunt in the future, and the 28 or 20 O/U will probably be my pick.
