I have something to do with my time today! Lot of wind and rain a couple days back, everything seemed normal when I went to bed last night. Well, when I wasn't looking.... Usta be about 65-70' tall and it's about 20" diameter at the butt. My chainsaw is waaaay too happy.
I am..........disturbed.

We dodged this Tuesday. We are blessed with no damage to our house of trees. Others near here weren't as lucky.

What do you do with them? Just pile them up and burn them.

I'm a bit picky with the future of fallen trees on my place. I do a bit of woodcraft from time to time and know several people that do the same. Case in point: This one is a laurel oak, something I have no use for. Soooooo....

One of my co-conspirators knows how to make proper columns in a well crafted home. I passed along some camphor and black cherry logs awhile back.

The stools have a clear varnish.
The table is clear polyester resin…buffed.
