They bloomed a bit early this year, thanks to a warm winter. The trees are covered with white blossoms. This morning, they're weighted down with snow. It's not cold enough to kill them yet, though. They can stand down to about 25 or 26F. We usually figure we'll get a crop 1 out of 3 years as we normally get a late freeze that wipes them out. We've had 2 good crops in a row which is unusual. We're due to lose them again. When we get a crop, we'll can enough to last a couple years to cover the bad years. We have plenty canned now so losing them wouldn't be a bad thing.

21F here this morning. Just looked at the apricot tree I'm trying to get established yesterday afternoon. Buds are almost ready to break open. Just hoping it doesn't get really cold and freeze the branch tips completely.

I wish that we could keep our Apricots alive. We’ve planted 3 times…..failed 3 times! 🤬 Heck, we even managed to keep some peach trees alive…..🤞! memtb

One night and the crop is gone.
One windless cold night it settled in a depression.
