Working on feeder/ pig trap pen today. I hope to finish it tomorrow, building 4 protein feeders tomorrow and Thursday, maybe some Friday. I have doctor visit, pick up a rifle, get haircut, get truck inspected, get tags on Wednesday. I’m going to visit friends in north Texas Saturday through Tuesday, crappie fishing with them. I’m gonna buy me a fishing pole. I’ve never owned one in my life.

Was planning on cutting and moving a big limb that fell in backyard. The rain has now started not looking good till Thursday so going to forget yard work for a few days. Probably take a 4-wheeler ride tomorrow in the woods to check cameras, not planning to stop much mosquitos will eat you up right now. Thursday wife has an CT-scan at the cancer center in Baton Rouge hope it come back clear. Also would like to transplant some tomatoes, bell peppers & jalapeno peppers if it dries up.

Today we close on the sale of our former residence of 51 years. Cash sale, house was on the market for less than 24 hours and we got full asking price. We are just about settled in to our new place.
I am planning our annual spring road trip that will include at least week each in Cody and the Black Hills.

Working today, Thursday, and Saturday. Visiting a BIL tomorrow, shooting on Wednesday but not sure if sporting clays or hitting the rifle/pistol range. Friday will be yard work if things dry out. Need to pick up some trees I took down earlier as well as cut down some more.
Right now watching a couple cranes that literally just landed in the back yard. I think these might be my regulars from the last few years as they are staring towards the house. Last year they would let me get about 30 yards from them and toss out some whole corn and rolled oats.
Added: Cranes number 3,4,&5 just walked up the hillside to join the first pair. The one might have a band on the leg.
