Is that a little rough on your hand ? is it gritty like sandpaper, I always think about hockey stick tape.

Is that a little rough on your hand ? is it gritty like sandpaper, I always think about hockey stick tape. yeah a little, 80grit. I don't mind it because my thought is also - I might have to grip this pistol covered in blood and brain matter. I want some abrasiveness there and that's likely to be uncomfortable.

I love that stuff on the grips.

Another thing is that the double stack Paraordinance frame on that 38super would be too thick with anything else. the frame and thumb safety has already been ground down as narrow as safely possible so it will fit a regular 1911 holster.
