A friend has a 28 ga. Beretta O/U with a busted stock. Who would be the campfire guru in this area?

Sorry don't have pictures. Like i said, it's a friend's gun. It's an English stock, no pistol grip. Where the tang extends into the stock one side broke off, and the other side is also cracked. Beretta as much as laughed at him and told him to pound sand. A local gun shop owner told him it is a flow crack and cannot be repaired. Was wondering if anyone else has ever heard of such a thing? Also if not repairable who could duplicate a new stock with propper grain in the propper areas?

Hard to be definitive without pictures. As long as he has all of the pieces I would expect it could be glued and pinned back together by a skilled gunsmith. A friend repaired the straight grip wrist on my wife's family heirloom cape gun that was severely cracked. None of the repair pins are exposed to the exterior and you would have to look very closely to see the repair.

Too close for irons, switching to scope...
