I did for quite awhile. Both team and singles. Had a little mini team,a bigger haflinger mule team and a separate single. All gone now.Too old to lift the harness. Down to one old mule now. We are both pretty slow.

Now driving a 14 hand Molly mule, doing really well.

Looking for a quarter horse sized harness for a team.

Didn't get one at Waverly last week, but got a line on one pretty local.

Had a 40" pony from the amish kids that was really broke but it collicked and died last fall.

I think we got a line on another one for the grandkids to play with. Just get out the money and drive 500 miles to get it I guess.

Safer than a 4 wheeler I think.

This is encouraging ! Thanks for pictures and replies .I have sold all my good horses due to my low income (my own doing as I lived doing what I liked when I was young and physically able ). I am now 74 and own the most homely mare I ever had in my my life .She is just coming 4 and is very green but CALM .I have about 20 rides on her and have got a harness to fit her and started pulling light stuff in the corral . I am changing my fore cart to use shafts or pole .The bigger project now is the free 12 yr old Arabian (gentle but not broke to do anything )He can be explosive ! I never owned a Arab before .I am pulling tractor weights in the pen and he is catching on !

Mulespurs tell us more about your Molly ,age etc .I would trade for a young mule colt if possible .I would be leary of some as they might have outsmarted several owners before me .
saddlesore that is a nice rig and team . verns

Another old guy here, used to skid logs with Percheron. He was a decent riding horse also and used him to run a winter trapline around the farm. Shooting off his back would spook him but if I got off and he could see the gun he didn't care.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

They can be very useful or totally worthless and dangerous . Not an animal for everyone .
