I fly with some great female pilots and some dudes that are real [bleep] that I would never fly with again. Sex doesn't matter. I don't fly with crazy people regardless of sex. The crazy male pilots have their meltdown in the seat, which is far scarier.
A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”
Crazy lunatic bitch DEI woke maniac at the controls of a passenger aircraft? Seriously? United had better fire that idiot and the licensing authorities take away her pilot license. She is a disaster in the making.

kodiakisland: So how long is the interview YOU conduct with every pilot YOU fly with before YOU decide whether or not to get on the plane - and where and how do you conduct this interview or do you judge on a pilots looks??? Balderdash! The woman shown in the video should NEVER be allowed to pilot/fly a plane - she instigated her own "interview". I would have gotten off of that plane and called law enforcement and the airport authorities to report her bizarre/unprofessional behavior! Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
Makes one miss the days when a pilot could down 4 martini’s at lunch, smack a stewardess on the ass, and fly a 747 across the country.
The truly safe days when men were men……
I think sometimes we tend to forget that women aren’t the only ones that do stupid [bleep]. We also forget that people of both sexes did stupid [bleep] before DEI was ever a thing.
But now everyone has a camera on their cell phone, so we get a ringside seat to all of it.

I usually have a feel for the person I'm flying with before we take off. Certainly by the time we are in the air. Sex is not a determiner on ability to fly. Lots of bad pilots, male and female, just based on skill. Mental illness is also a problem male and female. Yeah, she was crazy and shouldn't be flying, but that's because she is crazy, not because she is female. Plenty of crazy dudes with pilots license as well. After a day of backcountry flying with me you might say the same about me.
Typical United...they have been hiring split-tails and minorities for years...and not even caring if they are the good ones. This is the result. No way I would ride on them....it's just a matter of time.

That's a pretty stupid thing to say. United does about 5000+/- takeoffs and landings every day. That's 1,825,000 takeoffs and landings per year. The last crash with loss of life of a United airplane was in 2001 as a result of terrorist attacks. Even considering that, United has done +/- 43 million takeoffs and landings without a loss of life since then.
The average American male lives 73 years. That's +/- 26,645 days. The average male would have to board a United flight every day of his life for +/- 1,613 years to be guaranteed a crash resulting in death on united and those stats are rising daily.
My math may be slightly off but.......I'd say you are pretty safe.
