I'm thinking of selling some stuff in our home state, Nevada does require gun show background checks. LGS here seems to be on the phone for hours getting that done.

I haven't been to a show in ages, has this process been streamlined lately?

If you price your stuff reasonable, 80% of your sales will be to dealers during the setup day/evening...it's all up to them as to compliance when you as private party sells to dealer. As far as I know.

I'll advertise some stuff here in the classifieds, always had good dealings with the CF brethren but had 2 instances of stuff not making it to the buyers and collecting on insurance was a joke.

Well obviously you understand NV law as pertains to private party transfers as of Jan 2020. PP to dealer to PP. The only thing I am familiar with is Curio and Relic transfers which are still legal in section 4, PP to PP. Modern guns are out of my area of knowledge. I have been to Elko and Winnemucca with very little luck. Reno is where the money is in my opinion. As you say....Set up as early as you can, clearly mark your prices, stuff will move.
