I’m working on putting together a set of 270 Winchester dies. I have an LE Wilson 30-06 FL bushing die. In theory a bushing swap will work. However, there will be a portion of the top of the shoulder that will never come in contact with the die because of the difference in neck diameter between those two cases. Anyone have any thought on whether that will cause issues?

I’ve done 20P in a 223 bushing die and 7-08 in a 308 bushing die for years and never had an issue. Make up a handful of rounds and shoot them 4 or 5 times to test. I’m betting it’s a non issue.

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.
