There was a thread or two on those a few years ago. IIRC they are reportedly solid, but need a good bit of finishing up.
You might try PMing TC1 about them. He might have had one done. If my recollection is faulty, I apologize in advance to both of you! Yeah, I had Mark Stratton put one together for me years ago. At that time you could still buy rings that were cut for the factory bridges. I bet that's dried up by now. I found an old "guild" barrel that was octagon with a full integral rib and thought the square bridges would make a nice addition. It was bored out to a .338-06. I built the stock on it and am reasonably happy with the results. Doumlin was just one of the names they put on these. They are all the same action though. Not as slick as a FN but maybe a little better than a Charles Daily. I've enjoyed mine. Terry I would be reasonably happy with those results as well. GD

These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

https://sunnyhillgunparts.com/docs/pdf/2021-retail-prices.pdfNot sure if still available? I looked at the milling option but could not come up with a good recoil lug for the rings would be interesting to see the rifle without rings to see what was done there

The rifle pictured above has SunnyHill rings. They've gone up substantially since I bought mine. If they still stock them, you're in business. Below is a picture of the action. A metal dowel pin is inserted in the ring base and seats in the "U" area on the front ring. Terry

I never thought about that pretty sure my action has that cut would be easy to alter the ring
In my head I was welding and other shenanigans

I don't have it in front of me. I'm in Alaska and my action is in Arizona. I found a nice Browning Safari and I'll probably rebarrel to 9.3. I'm going to use Talley bases and pin them on the Sarco

I built a 9.3x62 on mine. Took a lot of work to clean up the action. I had to make a mandrel to face off the front of the action, it was .006" out of true. Seems to shoot just fine. I started out with a 2.5-8 vx3 but since switched to a Credo 1-4x

Gunner had one built as well. Yes Sir, 400gr Woodleigh softs/solids, A-Frames and Partitions at 2265 fps lay a hard smack on game, Sunny Hill QD rings for scope mounting.
