I tried this on the main Campfire forum but didn’t get a lot of feedback.
I’m looking for a compact 2-4 long gun safe that that is less than 4’ tall. There’s no shortage of taller safes that fit the bill or under the bed safes. I’m looking for a compact and short against the wall safe to keep in the bedroom. Something just tall enough for a couple of “modern sporting rifles” with a sleeve on the door for a pistol or two. Given the popularity of the rifles it seems like someone would offer something similar to what I’m looking for but I haven’t found anything. Does such a safe exits?

Do you want a safe, or just a locker?

I hadn’t thought about a locker but that would work. Just something to keep a rifle or two secure and not laying out in the bedroom. My gun room is on the opposite side of the house.

This isn't exactly what you were asking for, but I've had really good luck with this in-wall safe from V-line. I have mine mounted just inside my master bedroom closet and keep a long gun, a pistol or two and some cash. Anything else I want to store something short term too. Think of "I'm going to put this somewhere safe for later" for us old bastids, that you somehow forget. If I'm missing something important, I always look there first.
