Today's verses:
You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. "Though He was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, He gave up His divine privileges. He took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When He appeared in human form, He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal's death on a cross."
Philippians 2: 5-8
May we follow our Master's example. Lots of humility in this passage. God bless.
"Blessed is the man whose wife is his best friend - especially if she likes to HUNT!"
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these."

Pretty clear explanation of why Jesus…even “Though He was God”…prayed to His Father.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

interesting comparing the newer translations with the OLD KJV....
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
With the two together.... HE had every right to be equal, but set it aside!
He could have called 10,000 angels, but HE didn't....
Matt 26:53
"...A man's rights rest in three boxes: the ballot box, the jury box and the cartridge box..." Frederick Douglass, 1867
