I did a search on Gunbroker for sold listing. As low as $500 up to $1000. Outside that the 200th anniversary model was much higher ($2250) and an engraved receiver one was $1025. All where 30-06 Remington 700's. Most did have walnut stocks. I think in the fall prices would be higher. I would settle on $700 to $800 for a value. Just my trying to give an educated guess on this. I did not see any of the target barrel contour's sold. Your is the varmint/target barrel I believe from the picture. Also is that the 26" barrel? I know Remington made some heavy barrel 30-06's in 26"

I’ve found those stocks hard to get your money out of in both short and long action. I recently sold a heavy 308 in a magpul for $580 locally for reference.

I picked up a Rem700 SPS BDL in 270 for $500ish recently. The stock will add a little but not much. While it is better than an OEM tupperware, it has only marginally more in value. Personally, I'd look to get 575-600 out of it. RR prefixes are not know for high QC so that is going to hurt it too.

At a gun show this morning they were going from $400-600. These were the nice old ones from the 60’s and 70’s. That’s not considering what ever that stock is worth to you.

Buying or selling? I would not pay $400. If it had a walnut stock much more.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

You might be better off to find a wood stock for it and then sell the magpul separately.
Is that originally one of the heavy barrel long range versions?

A check of eBay completed auctions shows the Magpul stocks selling for $180 - $275, and averaging about $220. There is almost no demand for the Rem 700 Magpul version of the rifle. As someone wrote above, the RR series is going to hurt you. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Remington 700 man, but I will not by any 700 with an RR action. You might come out better selling the stock and barreled action separately. There have been 20-30 Magpul stocks sold on eBay in the past month. But you'll pay a 13.5% fee to eBay.
As AKW mentioned above, the CDL version is defined solely by the high-end CDL stock.

Is that originally one of the heavy barrel long range versions? how can i tell ? A call to Remington might provide some answers on what it was originally built as. Also the barrel stamp would help narrow down the month/year it was made I have a 25-06 long range with an RR action that looks very similar without the magpul and they offered the long range in 30-06 at the time as well. This would only be relevant if it’s a heavy barrel, I can’t quite tell from the pics but it appears it might be.
