Damn. It's hell getting old, and watching others do so. "We all got it coming, Kid."

The guy is 93, and this is a goofy picture. In this picture he was at an event for Jane Goodall, and he looked way better in the other press pics. He is rocking the high trousers though!

That boy has had a good run and it appears he has stayed true to himself.
My Grandma lived to be 89, she said the hardest part of growing old was watching all her friends and family die. When my Dad (her son) died she had had enough and died 3 months later, I think she died of a broken heart.

My mother died last year at 104. She got a covid booster and a week later died of a stroke. Related? We'll never know for sure but we're suspicious. Anyway, she didn't have a single old friend left. She outlived them all. She knew younger ladies (80 and younger) in her church and did things with them but she never really connected with any of them. She lived with my sister for her last 7 years.

That seems crazy that an 80 something year old could have their momma living with them.

I know Eastwood's ranch manager, it sounds like the old boy is still mentally sharp.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Sad to see, but I saw my dad decline the same way, something awaiting us all if we live that long or something worse.
