With the US stating they'll not participate directly in an offensive retaliation, that also probably means Israel is not interested in hearing about "restraint". That said - I don't foresee that Israel goes scorched earth.
I'd imagine targeting C2, launch sites and oil facilities at a minimum. Be real interesting to see if they take the opportunity to take out suspected nuke sites. Which they should but we'll see.
Iran then tries to shut down the Strait in response to the response and then USN and others open it back up again in time for the early bird special at Golden Corral.

After our 911, no one was going to try to tell us how to conduct warfare. Yet, Biden wants to try to tell the Israelis how to conduct war with Hamas after the Israel's 911 (10/7 attack) Given the ugliness of that war, and the grief that Biden is taking over it for talking out both sides of his mouth. I cannot find any sympathy for Palestine/ aka Hamas. Without Israel, I do not know what middle eastern country would have the stones to do what they are doing. Israel is in the fight for it's very existence. War is an ugly business even when it goes well!
